What total nonsense! 

Cats are just mammals and incapable of exerting any type of control over human beings.
People are at the top of the food chain and have been the dominant species on this planet for a very long time. Cats are simply domesticated pets that we choose to have around.

I know I'm the sole master of my fate, captain of my destiny and owner of free will.
And I'll prove it to you...

...right after I feed my widdle boo-boo kittehs because I hear them calling me.
