I'd say it would be prudent to take these murderous thugs at their word. FBI already admitted that they just did not listen to, or follow up on these two from Garland Texas, because there were 'so many of them out there now'.
Our government has set the stage, and brought into America a cast of hundreds of thousands of muslims. Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and other locations. We already know that thousands are more than willing to travel and kill in the name of their insane religion. NO reason to think they won't make this a daily thing here.

Sadly anything that happens in Virginia will be in Northern VA where at the right place you can find quite a lot of people and not many guns. Lots of idjit extremist mosques up there too.

So not really a whole lot more crime than normal. If they attack D.C. or Chicago, it may not even register on the weekly/monthly murder rate.

Bull. It's that whole tree of liberty needs water thing. Obviously we had a quite spell here in the states, but equally obviously it's over, and some folks are gonna have to die. Anyone with half a brain can see that either we will lose our liberty, or folks are gonna have to die.* Since I like liberty, let's go ahead and get the dying over with so we can go own with being free. It's not chest thumping to be able to see the battle coming. Americans have been talking crap about a "War on Terror" for better then a decade. Guess what folks, it's finally kicking off.

ISIS claims they have 70-ish operators in the states.
Its better to bait them out and kill them before there are 70,000 of them.
This is 4th generation warfare- on our soil.
Its much better to draw them in and make them fight our tactics vs having them bombing public gatherings on their own terms.

I know, but more attacks usually means more loss of liberty for the common US citizen. i.e. Patriot Act, NFA Act, Gun Control Act of 68.
When we get ISIS under control, it will be another group, etc.

If they are this easy to eliminate, simply by using Police RoE, there is no reason not to do it.
The Texas thing was a small, fairly well planned operation, I'm even more impressed that it was taken on by citizens rather than .gov- then again it is inevitable that citizens would get into ISIS' OODA loop before the federal government could (or would).

I'm talking present times. If this conversation is about to go into the old "Crusades LOL" direction, then it's a doomed conversation. If Muslims can't be civilized enough to avoid duplicating hundreds of years of strife before arriving at a somewhat civilized state, then they deserve any repercussions that come with that.

In other words, barbarism shouldn't be a function of religious evolution. It's a direct reflection of the state of humanity. And I expect that Muslims should hold themselves, and those within their community, to MODERN standards, not falling back on being 600 years behind the times based on the foundation of their religion.

In short, the attacks on christianity (with the exception of attacks from militant islam) no longer seem to be barbaric conquest in nature. As such, neither should the response. My point is that Muslims will be attacked, at least in the modern forms of mockery and marginalization, and it's something they just have to deal with. The response to mockery and marginalization need to be something other than death, limitations on free speech to protect special snowflakes, and Sharia law.

Totally agree. I read some academic publication that the Muslim religion is going through the same experience/metamorphosis right now that the Christian church did back in it's conquering periods. Hopefully they can get it figured quickly.

Yeah, they are, and that's part of the problem. Modern society pretty much demands that if your religion is going through those changes, you'd do well to skip the "by the sword" periods.
