Anyone know of a good call blocker for android.
I was using trucaller but it only dumps calls to voice mail not disconnect.
Freaking dot head Viagra pushers are now leaving robo voice mails.
I'll even pay for the app.

I want one that does real blocking, as in dropping a 30 ton stone block on the caller.
Will pay up to $3.99.

Why do you need an app? My Galaxy S111 has a feature called "Add to Reject List." If I get a call from a marketer, I just add it to the reject list, and I never hear from them again. Not an app -- it's built into the operating system.

National do not call list works for me...

I am about to change cell numbers I get so much crap. Mostly because my number (after some research) used to belong to a now defunct lawn service run by a "Michael" in another town. It is still listed on Manta and they have promised then failed to remove it several times.

On the do not call list.
They are scammers that don't care.
I can't seem to fathom why they would keep calling after some of the responses I have given them.

I have a Motorola droid something or other. Where is the setting on yours?

I have the same built-in app on my Galaxy S4 (yeah, old tech). It does auto-reject calls on the list, but they can still leave a voicemail. Quite annoying.
I was researching an alternative late last night just before going to work. No good alternatives that could prevent voicemails from blocked calls came up in the search.

Doesn't work for me. I've had my two home phone numbers and my cell phone listed for years -- I still get barraged with marketing calls.

It's not a nuclear setting. It works on a call-by-call basis: https://www.greenbot.com/article/2955477/android/how-to-block-a-phone-number-on-your-android-phone.html
You can also manually add numbers to the reject list, but I just add them when I get calls. My phone is a Samsung. The way it works for me is:
- Tap the "Phone" icon
- Select "Recent"
- Select the number I want to block
- When the screen for that number pops up, tap the main menu bar at lower left
- Select "Add to reject list"
- Done
There's another option, though, which I have not tried: https://www.quora.com/How-can-I-expand-the-reject-list-on-an-Android-Phone

I didn't know that. I've never had a second voicemail from a number I've added to the reject list.
