Anyone else watching? Carol Shelby's personal Cobra "Super Snake" one of a kind car just went for 5 million bucks. That's a new record at Barret-Jackson.
Here's some info on the car.

Ol' Shel's probably laughing his head off at that.
It's funny when you know some of the folks whose cars go through B-J.
Years ago, Dale Wood sold a Trans-Am Mustang to some guy for around $10K and figured he'd really nailed the guy. The car later ran through B-J for around $80K.
Jerry Thompson drove an Owens-Corning Fiberglass Corvette. When they dropped out of racing, Jerry probably could have bought the car for peanuts. Years later (last year) B-J paid Jerry's expenses to fly to Phoenix and drive the car across the stage. It sold for $550K.
