I've said for a long time (mostly to my Dad, who's a Democrat) that you can have tax cuts or you can have a war, but it's immoral to do both at the same time.
I wonder if it has any chance at all of passing?

IMO, it's a false dichotomy, at least when discretionary and entitlement spending is so far out of control.
There's so much fat that can be cut, .mil spending and tax cuts, or at least a freeze are more than possible.
