What is error code 2?

I'm trying to install Acrobat 7, so I download the link, click on it, and it says 'Unable to launch. Error code 2'.
then 'unable to launch installer, some more *expletive deleted*it, CreateProcess return 2'.

I really need to view PDFs for my homework.

Maybe a rare occurence, but then you only have to get murdered once to ruin your whole day.

Sounds like the file you downloaded is corrupted. Delete it, then download it again possibly from another server.

Make sure everything is closed before you start the install. This includes your anti-virus software. The latest versions of Adobe are almost as bad as Microsoft stuff for invading all areas of your system.

I've tried downloading it multiple times from multiple locations. I shall try disabling AVG.
