I have found Honda polish to be one of the best all around cleaners for bikes period (keep in mind I ride "crotch rockets" so plastic is where it works the best. note I don't call them rice burners. Since Mine is a "pasta burner"
)

If you spray it on bugs and let it sit for a minute or two then it breaks them up pretty good.

That Honda Polish is specialized (and expensive) furniture polish.
It works better, but not enough better for the cost, IMO.
