That's a rerun, Z.O.B.

I downloaded about two dozen songs from Amazon in MP3 format. I'll see how they sound on the Mustang's stereo (which is a pretty good system) with the sound up to about 100 decibels.

Some day you can tell us how they sound through tinitus.  =D
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

What? I can't hear you. I have a rag in my ear.

I remember trying to listen to Eno's "Ambient 4" in my VW thing

at 60 mph, you could not turn it up loud enough, on my boombox, to even hear it

I didn't know VW Things went 60 mph. ;)

Veering off-thread, Keith Richards' aging always astonishes me. He looked normal, even good-looking, in the early years (and also ran with some pretty hot chicks):

Amazon music.  HUGE friggin' selection of MP3's.  Quality with what I've purchased there has been, thus far, very good.

mine had a holley bug spray, headers and a hurst

it was loud and surprisingly fast off the line

I think 73 mph was the drag limited maximum top speed

I had a bug spray on mine. It worked OK once I found a split tube intake but with the plenum intake that damn carb was like a switch, it only worked decent at idle and full throttle. I've since gone to Webers, they are much easier to tune.

"But officer, it's a VW Bug, it won't go 80" got me out of a ticket once.

I really want to get another aircooled engined buggy,
There's a guy down the road that has a primer grey baja in his yard under a tarp

My other option is to lift my 2002 NB like a Dune

that way i already have functional Heat & AC and an MP3 player

a stinger would be a fun leg burner out the back

New Beetles just aren't the same.

Turned mine into a baja many years ago after an accident. It' got a Tri-Mil bobcat and a S&S "silencer"  I added a class 11 cage and 2" body lift, I need to convert it from swing axle to IRS with 2x3 arms and bolt in that 002 tranny I have, and I also have a 1 piece fiberglass front end I need to get mounted. I should probably get a wider torsion housing for the front end too, so it matches the rear.  =D
