When it is 0800 EST in CT what time is it in Alberta Canada? All I got is UTC7 from a search. Anybody know?

Well, the current time in Alberta is 5:38AM
The current time in CT, is 7:38AM

So, they are two hours behind you.

UTC - Universal Time Coordinate is also known as GMT or Greenwich Mean Time.
