I had a date with a good looking redhead when the movie can out back in 96. I just remember her and how we both laughed our asses off for the entire movie.

General nonsense:

There is a town in Colorado called Tin Cup.

There's also a semi-fictional town called East Tin Cup., made famous by Denver radio personality Pete Smythe.  I used to enjoy listening to his show.

That is all.... except to note that a golf course is a terrible waste of a good rifle range.

1st is Caddy Shack, followed by Happy Gilmore.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

1st is Caddy Shack, followed by Happy Gilmore.

Then Tin Cup, and then the Legend of Baggar Vance.

I'm sure there are others, but those four have now exhausted my knowledge of golf movies. (And I've never seen the last one.)
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

IMO, Tin Cup was a different kind of comedy when compared to Caddyshack or Happy Gilmore.  Caddyshack and Happy Gilmore would be similar.  IMO, those two are close to the same, but different generations.
