strange forum problem (no, not APS)
« on: October 25, 2013, 09:03:49 PM »
A forum I read/post at regularly is giving me conniption fits with one specific thread, and absolutely no others on the forum.

I need idead of how to fix the problem, which is that I can only open that thread to the first page and cannot navigate to any of the other pages in that thread.  Click "next", click on the page humber for other pages, use Alt+left or Alt+right arrow - all give no joy.

Waaaa!

Any ideas on what to do?  Mods on the forum can only tell me it seems to work for everybody except me.

Waaaa!

You're using firefox, aren't you?

I'm having the same problem over at ADVRider.

I can browse the site fine with IE, just not Firefox.

APS is a strange forum, but it's not really a problem. More of a feature.

Tried a different computer or device, different browsers?

If the problem follows you to different devices, browsers, OS's even, then there's something corrupt in the forum's database related to you and that thread.

You could also try right-clicking on the page numbers and choosing to copy link location, and then manually paste that link into the address/URL bar and hit enter on it.

See if that works.
I promise not to duck.

No.  Actually AOL.  *hangs head in shame*

But yes, it also happens when I use Firefox.

No access to other devices, and the problem also occurs on firefox.

How dare they!  And how do I go about getting someone to find it?
