Every East German map case I've ever seen has been leather. Offered far more protection to the maps...

And I've never seen one with the DDR logo screened on it. I think that's probably some sort of civil organization.

Let me ask you again what you were going to do or say if someone accused you of being a Nazi (your word) with that bag or sack or whatever it is.  Are you trying to bait someone into challenging you?

(It seems similar to the self-righteous behavior of the parking lot monitor in that it reflects a chip-on-your shoulder self-righteousness, but that's ancillary.)

That's all I was asking about: What are you going to do or say if someone challenges you on the item?

What, in other words, is your underlying motivation to carry it around?
