Wow, he seems like a piece of work.

I hope he is locked away until he dies.

The death penalty would be more appropriate, but, of course, we're too "enlightened" to put someone to death for anything other than murder. (And usually, not even then.)
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

In Oklahoma the death penalty is in play for rape.

IIRC there is another Okie cop.either recently convicted for.similar or getting prosecuted for it.

That's exactly what the jury is recommending.  They were 'tough but fair', and only convicted him on half of the counts.   ;/

As the jury put it 'It's not that we don't think he did it for those counts, it's that we feel that they didn't meet the burden of proof for those counts'.

If you watch the video he goes into wailing mode at the first guilty - a fairly minor charge only worth 8 years, if I remember right.  It's a bit before they get into the 'forced oral sodomies' and 'rapes' worth 20-40 years each.

No reaction from our resident police apologists?
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Pretty sure the Supremes have outlawed that, irrespective of the state law.
