The USPS strikes again

I have not one but TWO Amazon shipments that have gone walkabout. Tracking shows that both were shipped via USPS. One was supposedly delivered to my mailbox on Friday afternoon. The second was apparently (according to USPS tracking) delivered to my mailbox (in a different zip code) on Sunday evening. Neither made it to my mailbox.
The USPS tracking web page says to contact tracking assistance about any problems -- but if there is a way to contact them from that page, I missed it. I was finally able to get through to a live person at Amazon, and they are supposed to be sending replacements. Which is good from my end (if the replacements actually arrive), but the problem doesn't lie with Amazon, it lies with the U.S. Postal Service.
I am not a happy camper.

Recently, DW sent a package, from TX, to one of the boys, who lives in Washington state, via USPS.
The package somehow made it to Porto Rica.
There were many unproductive phone calls to USPS.
She sent a second gift.
