Okay. Won't say a darn thing about Roy Scheider and Jaws...
Frankly, Hillary _is_ more fiscally conservative than Obama. And I dunno if she was considering any of the other candidates in there...
I'm thinking that if Hillary actually gets elected, we'll get some serious gridlock. Which can be a GOOD thing. She's also a political animal, and she's not going to do something that'll hurt chances for the party as a whole... Obama, on the other hand, will be more dangerous to our rights. He's going to go in believing his own PR, and he's used to the Chicago-style "run roughshod" mode of operation.
I think that Hillary will be easier to beat than Obama.
Our objective should be the least damage. Period. McCain probably won't get squat accomplished, because the media will immediately go after him. Fine. Squat is GOOD. And he'll probably appoint some decent judges. Hillary also probably won't get squat done, but would appoint judges that we won't like. Obama... I suspect he'll have a longer "honeymoon" period than Hillary, and could get some bad nastiness accomplished. And some truly nasty judges.
Hence, if you live in a state that doesn't register for primaries, I urge you to vote for Hillary. Because McCain's pretty much got it sewn up, and anyway, the choice between him and Huckabee is a coin toss...
