I couldn't understand a word of the characters' dialogue.  Looks like something a liberal arts professor put together.

it's how the left views us, I noticed the NRA section was unbelievably stupid, it mentions how the country wants gun laws and no more cop killer bullets.
I laughed out loud at the contrarian, it was the left pushing those sophomoric arguments for gun control that leads me to believe they're lying about global warming.
This is the only way the left can feel it is winning the debate, by not having one.

I have to agree.  I saw so many misrepresentations that it'd offend republicans, even the moderate ones, and only truly appeal to the hardcore libbers.

How so?

The clip was what socialists THINK republicans are. Just as they THINK McCain should be the Repub nominee and get angry when even they realize it is not going to happen.

No, it was a cartoon making fun of Republicans. Exagerrating their perceived flaws, etc.

This humor stuff is crazy, isn't it?

The scary part to me is there are actually liberals that believe this stuff.  That wouldn't consider this hyperbole at all.

I've seen them on various sites.

And I've seen just as many individuals who thought that when Team America turned Michael Moore into a suicide bomber, it was 'telling the troof.'

I work with one, at times, Firethorn.

I overheard him going off the other day about how he would have to use vacation time to be with his girlfriend on her maternity leave.

"If I lived in <some other country> I wouldn't have to use my vacation time, the govt. would pay for it,  blah blah blah, whine moan complain." Well boo-hoo. Pack yer bags and move.

I asked him "Where do you think that particular govt. gets the money to pay for that?" "Uhhh, Ummm, well..."

(This is the guy who never never has any sick or vacation time because he squanders it and then bitches about it.)

Names, Riley, names! You are a big boy, right?

As far as the classification goes, the libtard arguments in that video goes as follows:
1) Chickenhawk: "If you do not serve in the military, you should either agree with our misguided globosocialist peacenik nonsense, or you are a cowardly racist hypocrite!"
2) Bibleton: "If you do not believe in our socialist global state redistribution kumbaya, you are obviously a hypocrite when you declare yourself a christian humanist and yet possess more than one shirt."
3) Contrarian: " People that staunchly oppose us are obviously doing so out of spite and stubbornness alone! They cannot be right and their position cannot be a principled one."
4) Numbnuts: "If you are blue collar but don't buy our class struggle propaganda, you are obviously a beer-guzzling brainwashed idiot!"

wooderson, there are many libtards that actually believe this garbage to be true, not humorous exaggerations, just like many of them take Jon Stewart's show as "news" every day.

The Bibleton bit was amusing.  Apparently, he's not supposed to force Christian morality on anyone, unless it's the part about giving to the poor.  On that count, apparently, we should all be forced to give like good Christians.  rolleyes

Also note that Bibleton is "born again, just like his buddy, George W. Bush."  Yet Bibleton is criticized for not helping AIDS victims in Africa.  But didn't George Bush designate large sums of tax money to exactly that cause?

He made some noise about it awhile back. But chances are it was never funded, unless the federal money went to his cronies, like big pharma..........

My thought during that piece was maybe the bible thumpers believe that helping the poor and downtrodden should be a personal, voluntary affair*, not something done through forced taxation?

*Well, or done through the church or other private organization.

Good point.  I think that some on both sides tend to pick and choose the parts of the Bible that suit their beliefs and ignore the parts that don't.  I know that I oculd certainly be more consistent.  IIRC, C.S. Lewis said that people should focus more on the parts of the Bible they don't agree with.

They're missing that part of the Bible where Jesus says: Help the poor, the sick, the prisoner, the orphan and widow, and see that ye do it through taxes and government programs, so that your neighbor is also forced to give, and more money is wasted.

Yes, just like Americans do with the Constitution.  But I don't think that's the real issue at hand.  The hilarious irony is that leftists so often complain about the Religious Right "imposing their values on others."  Yet they just as often complain when the RR DON'T impose Christian ideas of charity, in the form of social spending programs.

Very true.  I think the leftists have a point that some on the RR are hypocrites, but they certainly are if they expect certain values to be upheld, but not others.

You know I can't name names without starting a big fight. You'll just have to figure it out, if you can break free of your ideology.

I guessed you guys missed the part of the bible that said

"take upon thee a sword, make him fear imprisonment and death, and strip the worker of 30% of his earnings" angel

What is this dancing about? Step up to the plate or take back what you said. It is very simple.
