Just saw a report the Charlie Daniels has passed away at the age of 83.
-
Dang!
R.I.P. Mr. Daniels
-
I hate to hear that. He was a great voice -- both musical and for the American way of life.
-
I saw him perform once at the Washington County Fair in Hillsboro, OR many years ago. Got to see his "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" among other songs. He was a great performer and will be missed.

Ah crap. One of the few entertainers who never strayed from his roots, his beliefs, and his country.
RIP, Charlie. You have that golden fiddle for real, now.
