I find it interesting that he sort of lamented being forever associated with spaghetti westerns.

Thanks for the posting 230RN.   Yes,  I've seen the video before and noted the Wah-Wah lady. =D    It's a beautiful score .... under appreciated by many I think,  maybe because of being associated with pasghetti westerns.

R. I. P.Ennio Morricone.    Perhaps he was the John Williams of Italy.

I don't recall the earrings .... maybe maybe not.... I just thought she was an attractive lady.

It was interesting how human voices were used to achieve good effect in that orchestration as well.

Clever how the voices were used as a percussive instrument in several ways.

My absolutely favorite of his is Gabriel's Oboe, the theme from The Mission. The entire soundtrack is incredibly haunting.

His work on Once Upon a Time in America is also absolutely fantastic.
