The LCR is nice.  I have the .357  =)

Damn...I guess I need to get out more.  I always wanted a ruger 22 revolver, but the single six never felt quite right in my hand.

I have the ruger LCR-22. I might bear parting with it...bought it for the wife and she didn't take to it as much as I thought she would.
Maybe a rare occurence, but then you only have to get murdered once to ruin your whole day.

What's the dollar figure on the LCR 22?

I have a SP-101 4" heavy barrel in .22LR.  It is my number one fun plinking gun.  Probably because it is a lot easier to clean than doing a strip and clean of my Ruger Mark II.

I'm having a hard time deciding if my next  .22lr pistol will be a LCR or that new Storekeeper Bearcat....

For some reason, I thought that said "Storekeeper Bureaucrat." Next in the line of revolvers named after public servants.

that would be perfect for shooting aguila super colibri's , they only have primers and are extremely quiet with out using a can.. I may have to look closer at one of those..

Huh, I am just the opposite.  I would rather clean my Ruger MKI than most any revolver.  Once dis-assembled, the MKI is cake & pie to clean.  Even if I remove the cylinder, a revolver has many more nooks & crannies for carbon & gunk to hide.

The only cleaning I do to my 22lr revolver is to clean the chambers when it gets difficult to chamber rounds and wipe off the exterior surfaces.

For me, that is easier than cleaning any semi-auto.

My solution to cleaning lately, is not shooting at all. I've been trying to get myself motivated, but the price, and unavailability of ammo hasn't helped. Most of my handguns are .45acp.
My boss just gave me a $100 gift cert for Cabelas. That's a good excuse to spend another few hundred bucks on a .22 ....right?  Just say yes.:)

Yeah, $100 might buy a brick of .22 if you could find it  =(

Anyone know where I can get a holster for my LCR-22? Will it fit any J-frame holster?

I got a silver dollar pancake from Simply Rugged.

It is simply rugged.  I might break it in, in about twenty years.

No, I think the LCR is way smaller than a J  =|

Does your LCR have the regular Hogue grips or the slick boot grips?

I think the LCR & J-frames are equal in size....but the standard grips add a lot of bulk. Not ideal for pocket carry. Can't wait to see someone make small grips in a hard material for CCW....wood, polymer, or even aluminum....

It's exactly how it came from Ruger.

Nice looking pistol.  Is it built on the SP101 frame?  If so, a 101 holster should fit....chris3
