TLDR version - legislature sent a bill to the governor to sign that clarifys what we can and can't use a suppressor for.  The last few sessions a suppressors for hunting bill was vetoed.  The (D) governor sent a bill that left off the hunting part back to the legislature asking them to add the hunting part back in.  Reeks of political manuevering, but hopefully it works out!
