Philadelphia Convention begins, 25 May
« on: May 24, 2010, 12:49:06 AM »
Friday, 25 May 1787, a quorum of seven states met in Philadelphia, to begin deliberation on the amendment of the Articles of Confederation.

It so happens, I just started reading James Madison's notes on the convention. I was thinking about posting each day's entry on APS, mainly just to keep pressure on myself to finish reading them. But, that would take a lot of time and probably give me RMS, and I'm not sure if anyone would really be interested in that, anyhow.  So somebody ask me, come 17 Sept. inst., whether I've finished them.  =)

Anybody have any good Constitution Day events in your AO?  Not too much going on here.
