Reads like it written by someone who hides in their basement in fear of their own shadow and it makes them feel better if they make stuff up to justify their fear.
Why scared white guys are so dangerous

It sounds like the Hayden guy is the one who is insecure and feels the need to make strawmen out of everyone not like him.

The article suggests to me that Professor Hayden is the person who is "in a near-constant state of fear about their personal safety."

Yep. Projection.

Seems like the good professor likes to work with the same types of stereotypes that he sees as a problem of the "scared white guy." Not every white guy who values his personal safety fears government microchips, is anti mask, etc. He just piled every white, conservative, NRA stereotypes i to one generalization for white guys with guns.
So, it's about normal.

Don't forget the gratuitous shot at Trump.

Trump could probably make a fortune subletting all the space he's occupying for free in liberal brains.

Sounds about right for an article published in Salon. To me, their articles are usually so poorly researched and written they are very hard to read all the way through. Always a cringe-fest.

^^^^Ditto about Salon. You have to have a degree from Moron University with the appropriate paperwork in order scratch out your pathetic thoughts. I had heard that Salon had required any articles to be written and submitted in cursive and no one submitted any articles.
