When washing SWMBO's chenille throw:
A) Do not wash it with anything else, especially terrycloth items like towels.
B) Do not, under any circumstance, put it in the dryer.
Yes, I just spent 30 minutes vacuuming out the dryer. Chenille lint is like baby powder... it goes everywhere and sticks to everything. Everything. Being red, it was at least easy to spot. Thankfully the towels washed with it were the old ratty ones kept for messy things, not the good ones. The color didn't bleed but it might as well have. The towels are solid red with lint. Yes, SWMBO gave me that look.
The lint screen was completely full. Only other time I've ever seen one completely clogged, short of simply not being cleaned, was when a pillow exploded. On the upside I now know what the low airflow alarm sounds like.
