The tactical "_____" has gone too far

Ok, I was fine with the zombie crap and the tactical wheelbarrows and all the other stupid "tactical" trends. People want to be stupid, go ahead.

But this http://dsgarms.com/combat-flip-flops just goes too far.

COMBAT Flip Flops? Seriously? For $70!????!?! I am just without words.

I just got an email ad from cheaperthandirt.  One of the products was a Starfish AR magazine.  Five 10-round mags mounted on a central point by the floor plate (Mako Group Starfish).  I figure it has no practical purpose whatsoever, but might scare lefties.  I can't pull up their website right now.

In response to a 10 round limit (CA?), someone came out with 10rd plastic magazines for the Ruger 10-22 rifle which allowed you to snap together three in a similar way.  

I forgot the maker, but they didn't involve a separate clipping device.  The clipping arrangement was molded right into the plastic magazine.

They also kept the magazines in line with the bore, instead of sticking out to the sides.

I do see that the Combat flip flops and Shemagh are made in Afghanistan, and part of the purchase price goes to funding schools in Afghanistan.  So all you tactical SJW can feel good about buying this.

Agreed.  Camo should only be used in actual  combat or hunting situations, otherwise the enemy/animals will get used to it.  You wanna see real camo?  Here's real camo:

$25 at the used tire shop should get you a tire and a patched one time too many truck intertube.  A Ginsu knife and some really careful sawing around your foot should get you a lifetime's worth of custom-fit sandals.  If your tire has a steel belt you should get even longer wear.

I first encountered TJ treads (huaraches) in Tijuana in 1964, they were an old item even then.  Nasty, unpleasant thing to do to one's feet.  "Tactical" never entered the conversation.

Not quite.  The 5.11 is much wider so it will take the whole door rather than poke holes in it.
