Couldn't we spend the money that we are spending on Iraq on this?  What was it, $611 billion dollars?  I don't want to pay taxes anymore if they are going to further put money in rich oil mans pockets or rich healthcare administrators pockets

Why should I have to pay for someone else's healthcare?

Why should I have to pay for some other country's liberation?......
Because the citizens of your country, through their duly elected representatives, deemed it necessary.

Right, 'cause two wolves and a sheep voting on dinner ends well for everyone.

Impressed yet befogged, they grasped at his vivid leading phrases, seeing only their surface meaning, and missing the deeper current of his thought.

Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Why should I have to pay for someone else's healthcare?
Why should I pay the government to wage war for profits and murder hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians?

What, do you live in some ickystan, that your government does that? If you think our brave fighting men and women "murder innocent civilians", go chain yourself to the door of a Marine office with the other Code Pink freaks. Tongue
