It probably won't happen, but I'll give him props for trying.

I am truly shocked.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

According to the article, it seems Democrats are rather hostile to the Pizza Delivery sect.  I'd not want to be a Democrat and have a pizza delivered.  Probably have some rather interesting additions to the pie.

I think Christie is just trying to up his republican street cred.

Personally, I do not understand how a bunch of people demanding a bigger govt can call themselves anarchist.

This. Politicians should be motivated by a desire to please (or not enrage) the voters. True Belief is very much a positive, but we dare not depend on it.

But Scott L. Bach, executive director of the Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs, applauded Christie’s move as a “bold and defiant statement to the legislature.”

“Not only has he rejected their medieval schemes to block self-defense, but he has fired back in a way that forces them to choose squarely between citizen empowerment or victimization in the post-Orlando era of terror attacks on U.S. soil. The inescapable truth is that government cannot protect you when evil strikes — the only solution is citizen empowerment, and it is the legal, moral and Constitutional imperative of government to facilitate and not block self-defense.

Remember I live here. I don't think anything is going to change. Its doing to require many dem-repub swaps to get anywhere with improving gun laws here.
I'm just waiting for the next piece of *expletive deleted*it to be in the gov office. I really don't think we will see another republican gov next time.
But you never know. I hiltlary gets elected she may take some of our most useless democrats with her for political no show jobs in dc.
