C&R
« on: September 27, 2007, 08:17:54 AM »
The C&R app gets mailed off today!  My credit card already feels warm...
Anyway, where do you C&R holders do your buying?

Oh, goodness!

Let's see...

These are some of the places I've sent C&R money and signed copies:

SOG

Century Arms

Springfield Sporters

SAMCO Global

Dennis Kroh's Empire Arms

Classic Arms, Inc.

Treasure Hunt Arms

MidwayUSA and Brownell's will give you their dealer discount with a signed copy of your C&R FFL, btw.  grin

Both of my purchases have been made from J&G Sales - www.jgsales.com. I liked them because I could place a C&R handgun order online, after midnight, rather than calling in and talking to someone (as AIM Surplus requires).

On the recommendation from the CZ thread, I think I'm going to get a K-31 apiece from AIM, J&G and Classic Arms, just to see which one is the nicest.

Make sure you send your C&R to Midway, Grafs, & Brownells.  I save the cost of the C&R on every purchase.

Hmm, instead of waking up with a tatoo or a pissed off ex-girlfriend I drunk dialed, I could wake up with a drunk gun purchase?  This could be bad on the wallet Smiley

Send it to Midway definitely.  Pretty hefty discounts on some stuff, for example $40 off some Spyderco knives (maybe Benchmade, can't remember) knives, $300 on some ACOG's.
