another watch question
« on: October 09, 2007, 01:08:33 PM »
I have a couple of battery powered watches and the batteries have long since expired in them. I was wondering if I replaced the batteries would it ruin the water resistance of the watches.

The reason I ask is one was over $300 new and the other is a $100 Swiss Army watch that I have been missing this year while I am hunting upland and waterfowl. This watch will get wet when I am handling decoys and harvested fowl from my retriever.

It shouldn't unless you screw up the gasket or it has some type of strange single-use seal.

You need go to the company's website, and they will tell you what to do.

Me thinks with the Swiss Army you need to send it out, but their web site will tell you what to do.
