APS time?
« on: May 18, 2006, 02:30:35 PM »
Is it just me or is the time way off here?

I'm using -6:00 in my profile.

I'm posting this at 6:28 PM (18:28) Central (Daylight Savings) Time.

Sunday it felt a little better, but it was quite irritated from me rubbing it.

I have mine set for -5 EST and it's 11:35 PM right now.

Darned if the post time doesn't show 6:42 PM. The time settings in the profile seem to indicate that the software is expecting the server to be set for GMT, and then people chose their respective time zones from that. Based on the fact that I am off by five hours, I would say that the server is on EDT so it's throwing the software settings off.

Never correct for me either, no matter what timezone I set it too.  It's an hour off, one way or the other.

I've noticed it too.

My clock says 0448...

But as posted, the board shows 2352.

That's with -5 EST set in my profile.

Changed my time offset to 00 GMT.

As posted the board shows 0454, which is just a couple of minutes off of my machine's time.

Heck, I'm in Arizona and I have no idea what the time zone is here.  Only thing I do know is that it doesn't change Smiley

Let's see, it's 10:03 EST.  hit submit and see what it says.  22:06  just 3 min off.
