Because the candidates we've got don't suck quite enough, GOP bigwigs think Chris Christie would be awesomesauce.

My head hurts from the fractal of fail. First, screw the voters, they're just Republicans, so they don't matter. Second, screw all the candidates who ran, because they've proven they can attract a following among Republicans and withstand hostile media attention. Third, pick a very non-telegenic guy who is more liberal than any candidate running.

Wouldn't it be simpler to endorse Obama? Then at least you could say you 'won' the election.
