Okay I'm cashing everything I've got out and spending it on ammo, spare parts, and blades. Lots and lots of blades. And a bitchin' vehicle.

If I don't get taken to heaven, then I intend to be a regional warlord. Jocassee and lupinus, I have need of iron fisted men to keep order and expand territory. Also, we depart immediately for a looting roadtrip. Secure us some u-hauls, we're gonna need 'em. Also taking applications for wenches.

If you count all the fixes and reformations to the Gregorian calendar, and inaccurate dates and estimates given for the birth of Christ, isn't it already 2032 or something like that already?  [tinfoil]

i find it extremely funny how the article says how several of the members have sold or left their houses, sold cars, antiques, etc to fund this trip. in a couple weeks, then, there will be 10 more homeless people in the country, living out of a van proclaiming doomsday to be a date that is in the past.

I've heard someone else talking about the repeating trend of cycles of 7 in the Bible, but he didn't by any means try to predict days or years or anything though.  It was just an interesting topic.

Not even.  The switch to Gregorian was a ten day, or thereabout, shift.  The monk who determined the zero point of our current calendar was off by 4 or 6 years.  Again, IIRC.
