Interesting read.  Much of it is things I've discussed with others before.  It still comes back to "The internet changed it all."

Heck, I've got friends on facebook who don't know each other and realize that if they could see each other's wall posts would think "Why is Bryan friends with that idiot!??!"  I try to keep that in  mind when posting.  ;)

For all the shrinking of the world via the intertubz, sometimes the world is small IRL.
Wife met a girl at church in a bible study she heads up.
Said girl is maried to a former Marine.
Who was stationed where I was stationed. Granted, he arrived at about six months after me.
His MOS? Same as mine.  Assigned to the control tower, knows all the same people I do.
Currently an ATC at the Houston ARTCC.
Lives about 1 mile away in our sub divsion.
IRL, its a small world after all.

My sister sends me a message yesterday saying her former supervisor's husband and I played college football together.
There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

I met my wife in Las Vegas on a bus in 1985.

Turned out we were both from Ohio, but different parts.  However, she had lived just down the street from my cousins that I used to visit often when I was a kid.  Can't help but wonder if we met way back then but just don't remember all these years later.

Apparently the pigtails were all you pulled.

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!
