Dodge/mopar parts
« on: January 09, 2012, 10:19:00 PM »
Anyone have a source for them cheap not eye-gougingly expensive?

Looking for a low vacuum warning switch for my 1996 RAM......  Part #4428676...   Dealer wants $105....   Cheapest I've found online so far (including shipping) is about $80....

For the difference in price, I might just head over to the dealership anyways...

Unless I can find something significantly cheaper, that is....

I'd head to the boneyard, see if I can pull one, but I'd be worried it'd fail a week later.

But, parts for domestically made autos are so much cheaper than for foreign autos!

Or not, anymore.

There is (or was) a Jeep dealer somewhere (Florida, perhaps?) that had a huge on-line sales effort aimed at the Jeep community, but they can (or could) get any and all Mopar parts. Problem is, I can't recall which Jeep forum I used to see links to it on.

This might be them: http://www.moparonlineparts.com/jeep/jeep-mopar-parts.html
