He criticized Trump's comments about illegal migrants and rape, and is now charged with raping an illegal. How interesting.

It has long been alleged in a self-styled "sanctuary city" not far from here that the movers and shakers within the Latino community work actively to prevent members of the Latino community from learning to speak and write English, or to get decent jobs outside the barrio because, once the people are able to make it on their own, the "activists" are no longer needed and have no power or control over the huddled [Latino] masses.
This case seems to be proof of that in a microcosm.

That mindset is not limited to the Latino community:
