Oracle throws in the towel on San Francisco...
« on: December 10, 2019, 01:40:05 PM »
Oracle OpenWorld conference will no longer be held in San Francisco, which will cost the Glorious People's Republic about $64 million dollars in revenue.

The reasons?

Ludicrous hotel prices and... "poor street conditions."

While the article cites traffic congestion, I wonder if that's really code for "our attendees don't like dodging used biohazard sharps and piles of human feces."
