OK, fixed.

I think it is more than just "fancruft."  Oleg has made serious contributions in both artistic work and in advocacy work.  Yeah, I doubt he'll get the Nobel Prize for it but what the hey.

Whether it makes me a bad guy or not, I have to agree with the fancruft description.

Oleg's a wonderful guy, and has done untold wonders for the gunowning community and 2nd Amendment issues.

Putting him on the Wikipedia pedestal as an icon for all is a bit much, IMHO.

If there's an article about each and every single Pokemon, there damn should be one about Oleg.

Added categories and mention of the use of his posters and art internationally.

Strange. It was there this morning, and there was no mention of possible deletion on the discussion page for the article.

WTFSH?

I would create the article again. Some retard deleted it despite the fact that it had some 10 edits on it from different IP adresses.

And this is what I call Wiki vandalism.

Let me restate again. If there is an article about:

1. Each and every individual pokemon.

2. Each and every Warhammer 40,000 unit.

3. Several dozen photographers other then Oleg.

Why, in the seven hells, not about Oleg?

And what it points to is:

From context, "nn" might mean non-notable. In which case it's an unsupported value judgment on the part of this "Lucky 6.9" individual.

Furthermore, I see several notability threshold criteria that Oleg passes with ease.

I note that individual also had been officially recognised for his proclivity to be quick to delete entries.

Of course, the topics he's edited are not entirely mainstream, let alone critical to the Republic.

Has anyone bothered to ask Oleg if he wants himself to appear in Wikipedia?  I'm not sure I would...

Could have its good and bad sides. Less controllable than my own site for PR purposes. Not sure of the accuracy. On the other hand, might attract interesting people. Probably more good than bad.

So it was deleted by someone saying it was a "non-notable" biography?

Fine.  Post on "The High Road" and/or "A Human Right".

It would be hard to discount a message board with over 35K members, over 8K active members, and over 200K threads as "non-notable".  It would also be hard to discount a site with how many hits, where its photography and posters are used by many pro-2nd Amendment people and often (against TOS) by anti-2nd sites as "non-notable".  Either entry would NEED a mention of Mr. Volk.

So, who wants to write it?

I for one am less than happy over Mr. Lucky 6.9's summary execution of Rabbi's article.

I guess I'm not familiar enough with Wiki's policy and procedure to know whether this action is acceptable, or can be questioned/remedied/corrected by educating the asshat.

Anyone? Anyone?
