I haven't tried any locations on the east coast, but Minnesota, Texas, and southern California all end up in the Indian Ocean.  I suspect anywhere in USA except Alaska and Hawaii will do the same, although some might be pretty close to Australia or Madagascar.

It didn't work correctly.  I entered my 5 digit ZIP and it switched my U.S. location to somewhere in France as the starting point.  :facepalm:

And then back up, as I pointed out already.

So you'll hit the elephants again, this time from the bottom.

And their bellies are ticklish.  They cause earthquakes when they're tickled.  So it is said.
