Blue-on-blue violence: STL edition
« on: January 28, 2019, 09:42:57 AM »
https://www.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/st-louis-officers-took-turns-firing-revolver-with-bullet-at/article_4a9e9c9a-0b41-56e3-9f11-41b547a2e4dc.html

Two officers were at the home of a third officer (who was supposed to be on patrol in a different neighborhood, at the time), when one officer was shot and killed with someone’s privately-owned revolver. Russian roulette is the story they’re going with.

Big cites police departments seem to have significant issues with competence, corruption, and discernment.

And look! All three in one story!
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

I'm mildly surprised they weren't playing that game with a Glock . . .
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

So what caliber for Russian roulette?  I see that the single shot fired struck the officer in the chest and she died.

Let the cover-up begin!

Never mind the black eye and the fact the officer was hospitalized.  And just forget about drawing blood for a drug and alcohol test.

Ahhhh, the corruption hadn't fully played out yet. I'm sure there's more to come.
