My bad. I thought they were bigger. A quick look shows they have a Dollar General and hardware store though. And as with all small towns like that, plenty of places to drink alcohol. 
Pharump does seem to be the most efficient direction.
Yeah, there really ain't much in central Nevada.
My high school football team used to play Tonopah occasionally. Fun fact: their mascot is the Mucker. Named for the guy who got to shovel muck out of the mines.
