Seren woke me up at 1 a.m. I figure she wanted to go out to pee.

I was wrong. She went out and immediately racked out on the freezing cold concrete patio slab.

She was unhappy when I made her come in and go back to bed.

The temp finally no longer has a negative in front of it ...
A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.

Temp hit 32 below here Thursday.  Right now weather thingee is showing 27 above.  Almost 60 degrees difference.

How could you not?

Penny (rough-coated Australian shepherd, *very* fluffy dog) likes to go outside and lay in the snow or on the cold concrete and doesn't want to come in.  After a while she'll come to the door and bark, maybe shiver a little, then when I open the door she sits down and stares at me. "Ha! Made you open the door!"  We didn't have that problem this week when it was -30 and windy out.  Today she is back to her bad old tricks.

We hit 44 above this afternoon. Even my almost 14 year old lab played outside and then layed in the snow watching me move snow around with the tractor. Wednesday night when we hit -30 with -60 windchill I couldn’t get him to go more than 6 feet from the door. I think he was willing to do his bidness inside an accept the consequences but for my insistence.

I shoveled snow in my short sleeves today for about half an hour.  (at least I wore shoes and long pants)     I'm not sure what the temperature was; it's 36 with a light S breeze right now... so 37 or 38 maybe?

Not sure how high it got here, but my temp thingee is still showing 37 degrees.  If this keeps up for long it will be an absolute mess when the snow melts.  Not that I care.  I've been inside too long, and I'm feeling it.
