I Was Told To Come Here By Moderator At THR

I want to share some things with you guys. I have an iMac Tiger 10.4.9..I realize I'm in the minority, but that's the way it is. Has anyone here used this camera with their iMac? I like the optical zoom and the price.

Any input would be appreciated..Thanks!

But if you wait around a few minutes you will find several people who also know nothing but will pretend to.   grin

Since I am in Iraq now I will hold off on both until I return.

But I when I do I will take the ingridents to brew my own and a couple boxes of .45 and a few hunderd rounds of 5.56.  grin

I have an iBook and an A640.  Close enough?  The whole "A" series from Canon is exceptional, and the big plus is you don't need proprietary batteries.  You done good.

I use an Olympus eVolt e-500 and D-560 with my Macbook Pro Core Duo.

The camera you're pointing to uses SDcards. If the Macbook you have has an Expresscard slot on the side, you can get a $29 flushfit reader for those. If it doesn't, just use the USB cable, and OSX never has a problem with digital cameras. The camera itself will usually come with photo library software, or use the iPhoto software that came with the Mac.

Either way, there's never driver issues or failure to recognize. It'll work.

The camera and the computer are two separate dealies. And jpegs are, for the most part, jpegs... It should be okay. I own a 570, and I like it.

Now with your camera, I can't even pretend to know anything about the mac, but I do make Intel chips for a living.  No, I can't get anyone a deal or operate a computer at the admin level.  However, I have  stack of wafer with lots of microscopic holes burned in them....seriously.
