What violent purpose could the straps be used for? How long are they?
They're nylon straps with a heavy metal buckle attached. Could be used quite easily to crush a skull or cause general mayhem.
Not really long enough to tie someone up with, unless you knot three together. They
are a nearly perfect improvised flail.
