Joliet, Illinois information wanted
« on: December 01, 2005, 04:10:44 AM »
Anybody from the Joliet, IL, area?

There is a good possibility that I may be offered a position in that area.  Seems a bit close to Chi-Town for my tastes, but any information regarding the area would be appreciated.

Thanks!!

they don't call it "Joy Let" for a reason. Tongue

I know of a few folks that lived there and hated it, other than that I don't know anything about it except I avoid stopping there if I am passing through Chicago via I-80

Joliet has grown much in the last few years.  There are areas that are very middle/upper middle class suburbia.  The closer to downtown the more rundown it is.

If you will work in Joliet you have many options on where to live from rural to full blown yuppie suburbs.

E-mail me with any questions you have and I will be happy to help you out as best I can.
