A good way to see what the culture will be like is just to go to the website for each and look up the campus organizations.

Shooting club = good
No shooting club = bad

Business incubators = good
La Raza group = bad

Communists/socialist societies = very bad
Anti-gun group and no shooting club = VERY bad.

If you really want her to go to a good school with conservative politics, you might consider Texas A&M.

You can't neccessarially rely on the organized club system to accurately represent what goes on at a given campus.  A club can be on the books and have only a few members.    There can also be a whole lot going on outside of the organized clubs-some groups don't organize because the paperwork just isn't worth it.

My undergrad didn't have a shooting club, but I went shooting a good bit with the local "townies".

Oberlin is Berkely East.  A more wreched hive of scum and socialists you won't find this side of flyover country.  I deal with the college on a regular basis, and its done nothing good for my blood pressure.
