Oooo............... Hard to pick a favorite since there are many, but Silver Gulch Brewing in Fox, Alaska would top my list. Their Pilsner lager and Pick-Axe Porter are the two I usually buy.
Least favorites would be any of the swill cooked up by the mass market brewers.
It looks as if I'm destined to embrace my bootlegger roots. Last week I went to a Ducks Unlimited chapter fund raiser. I ended up buying a boatload of raffle tickets and won a brew kit with enough ingredients for my first 5 gal. batch as one of my prizes.
My plate is going to be full this summer with smoking salmon, making salmonberry jelly and cookin' up a batch Steve's Aleutian Ale.
