Title: Franken's Constitution "different" from Scalia's copy
Post by: BobR on March 22, 2017, 09:29:18 AM
And there is the fundamental problem with libs.

And others have finally noticed that some of these libs are just plain stupid or ignorant, I opt for stupid for them. ;)

Franken, a “Saturday Night Live” (SNL) alumnus and Harvard graduate, was first elected senator in 2008. He currently serves on multiple committees, including the Judiciary and the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committees.

It's way too early in the morning for these kinds of reminders about what impressive Solons we've elected to the Senate. [shudder]

They found a copy of Franken's Constitution!

Here's the preamble...

"We the Government of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Government, establish Government, insure domestic Government, provide for the common Government, promote the general Government, and secure the Blessings of Government to ourselves and our Government, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States Government."

Better material to work with.

He did, after all, say that he built a career around talking about the absurd. He's certainly in the right place.

There are two videos on this page with amusing interchange between Gorsuch, and a guy named Al Franken, who apparently (per the second video) thinks that Merrick Garland was (or is) a justice of the Supreme Court.

I believe you're not so much thinking "fix" as you are "mitigation".   [ar15]

OF COURSE Franken's Constitution is different from the one Scalia used - after all, good old Antonin worked from the UNITED STATES constitution.

Who knows which one Franken is using?

Bolivia?

Cameroon?

North Korea?

Your guess is as good as mine.
