The real test of a conservative: you buy Jif

Smooth for me. Brand-indifferent, though I usually reach for Jif or Peter Pan out of tradition. Tried one of the local "all natural" offerings. Unimpressed, especially for the price.

Plain yeller musterd for hamburgers and hot dogs. No real preference, though French's seems to have the best balance. Brown and dijon for things like brats, strong cheeses, and certain recipes.

So glad no one has mentioned the heresy that is beans in chili.

I've been buying and eating Jif long before it was cool. Skippy and Peter Pan suck.

My brothers and I used to shame my mom if she came home with anything other than Jif growing up.

Yellow mustard, please.

I used to be like that, then I started trying other mustards several years ago. I know have at least 3 or 4 different mustards in my fridge, including plain old yellow salad mustard. There are a couple German style mustards that are freaking awesome on brats and hotdogs.

There are a couple German style mustards that are freaking awesome on brats and hotdogs.

I'm super happy to have a German store in driving distance for the real deal Bavarian sweet mustard. I love that stuff.

The part of my life that doesn't revolve around chocolate anything revolves around Jif Extra Chunky Peanut Butter.

After suffering a spate of Skippy Peanut Butter and Salmonella sandwiches a few years ago, I discovered Jif and have been a fan ever since.

Speaking of mustard, anyone remember French's Onion Mustard? We LOVED that stuff but it hasn't been seen here in YEARS. Shopping a bit back, the wife saw this "Heinz Piccalilli Pickle" mustard-looking stuff and brought a bottle home. First off, it is NOT (very)mustard tasting BUT it IS pretty good stuff, to me anyway! It has little bites of baby pearl onions in it that I LOVE. If ya see it, give it a taste.

Peter Pan, creamy.

I buy Peter Pan as well.  (I hope that doesn't make you switch brands.    )  I have creamy and crunchy though.  Depends on use. 

I tried Jiff a few times.  I don't think I have ever tried Skippy.  I am not even sure if stores carry it in my area.

The one article had "owning an air conditioner" in the list of ways to tell if someone is white.  Down here, that pretty much means you own your home or trailer.  I assume they are excluding car air conditioners as that would include everyone down here.

I've been digging this one lately, I can get it locally at regional grocery chain, HyVee for under $4 a mug. Has a sweet vinegary flavor with a subtle Dijon kick.
