I just registered a Youtube account.
I feel low.
Like every other Tom, Dick, and Harry who thinks they have something they absolutely need to show the world.
I thought I'd never do this.

What should I do now?

So I set up my Youtube account, hosted the two videos I needed hosting, and haven't used my account since. (although I still do visit Youtube occasionally.) Today I get an email, informing me that I have a new PM at Youtube. Spam. Someone pushing their website. How fun. 

Isn't there anyplace that spammers' grubby little fingers don't infiltrate?

No, I'm not. You guys forget, my Internet social life revolves around THR, APS, a golf forum, and an acoustic guitar forum.

No Myspace account (no good reason to set one up yet), no Facebook; the only reason I have the Youtube account is because I needed a common video host for two videos. I do absolutely no socializing on Youtube.

I've considered bookmarking videos, but have only found a couple that are good enough to be remembered.
