The zeds were herded in the CDC / school for some reason. I figured there must be someone in the area. I hoped Woody Harrelson was there playing a banjo.

The need for drama in a TV show is what draws them to the very places the characters need to go.  Farmhouses with Vets acting as Doctors are spared so the story can focus on the child.  What?  You didn't know that about zombies?

I was sure the asian kid was gonna be pushed into the hayloft floor with the walkers-darn!

Well, the reason there was a barn full of walkers in the first place is the farm seems to be run by pacifists who cannot even bring themselves to 'kill' zombies.

I suspected death by misadventure might be in the works, but as it left, I think worked up zombies are going to bust out of that old rotting barn.

That was my first thought as well.  The good doctor could bring himself to put down the family members who were infected.

Zombie baby?  How would that happen?

I'm not sure of the timeline, but isn't there a good chance that the baby is Deputy Psycho's?

I think that's basically implied. If it was Rick's baby why wouldn't she just tell him?

I don't see how keeping this a secret benefits anyone.  Especially as those two men aren't that different looking.  Now, if a half Asian baby were born, then things would be interesting.

I just caught the latest episode.  Lack of interpersonal skills and information sharing had me shouting at the tv. So nothing new  :P

You know what may be more effective than ranting about how bad things are and how it changes folks... talk about your time at the CDC that granted you direct knowledge about the nature of the walkers and how any hopes for a cure are absurd.

Rick's wife is spectacularly dumb.

Almost any "horror" movie would be especially short if any of the characters weren't spectacularly dumb. Obviously, the applies especially to a "horror" television series.

(I'm guessing it's because the writers are lazy.)
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

Hollywood must be envisioned, in my opinion as that beast favored by film-makers, the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex was, we are told, huge, equipped with amazing muscles and reflexes, sharp teeth and claws, and a pea-sized brain.

Hollywood is huge, equipped with high-quality special effects crews, advisors of every kind, make-up artists and inventory specialists, decent actors and a logistics system that would put some militaries to shame - controlled by writers and directors with pea-sized brains.

Really?

I think she's as smart as anyone else on the show.
