Those soaring eyebrows occur when too much Botox is given, especially in the centre of the forehead. This makes it very smooth and can cause the centre of the brows to drop.
 
‘The outer edges of the eyebrows then fly up in a very artificial way. It’s a kind of Fifties diva look that is ridiculous on most women.
‘The second element of the cat face is cheek fillers. If too much is put in, the enlarged cheek presses against the eye, making it look smaller and slanted. This is especially obvious if the woman is smiling.

‘Too much filler also gives the face a triangular look: wide at the cheekbones and comparatively narrow at the jaw. In moderation, this is a youthful shape; but in excess, it just adds to the feline quality. And if Botox has always been used to eliminate any lines, the smooth, artificial, cat-like shape is further emphasised.’

I fail to see how this mangling is better than the natural aging process, especially when the gal in question abstains form tobacco and much alcohol consumption (which accelerate the signs of age).

On two occasions, I have been asked [by members of Parliament], "Pray, Mr. Babbage, if you put into the machine wrong figures, will the right answers come out?" I am not able to rightly apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a question.

I guess that's what you get trying to find cheap plastic surgery. Sort of like those women who got that Fix-A-Flat & oil mixture injected into their buttocks and almost died for it.

Good quesiton - even though time ultimately catches up to everyone, some women's facial features seem to age gracefully either on their own or with skillful assistance (Barbara Eden, Sophia Loren, Joan Collns, and Raquel Welch come to mind) and others, not so much. (Seen Bridget Bardot lately?  :O  )

The "botched" surgeries illustrated probably result from some would-be celeb trying to get the work done out of the public eye, which means they went to some hack . . . Priscilla Presly didn't even go to a real doctor.

With predictable results.

Personally, I think some people just start doing a little and then start wanting more every time another little flaw appears.  Most of those women would look better with their natural looks IMO.  A number of those plastic surgery queens look rather hideous.

Lisa Rinna is considered to be a plastic surgery disaster in her own right, albeit a more minor one than Jackson, or the "Cat Lady", in most American circles.
